Colombia Travel Restrictions

Travelers need to provide a negative COVID-19 PCR test result issued at most 96 hours before departure to Colombia. Also, travelers from Brazil or the UK are not allowed to enter the country. Let’s take a closer look at the major restrictions on traveling to the Colombia.

 

Travel restrictions

  • Travelers from Brazil or UK cannot enter Colombia, except for humanitarian flights
  • Travelers who have transited through Brazil and the United Kingdom are not allowed to enter the country

Exceptions

Nationals and residents of Colombia arriving on a humanitarian flight.

Nationals of Colombia Arriving from the UK or Brazil

Nationals of Colombia arriving from or transited through the UK or Brazil will be subjected to 14 days of quarantine.

 

Travel Requirements

Covid-19 PCR Test Result

Passengers should have a negative COVID-19 test result issued at most 96 hours before departure.

Exceptions

Nationals of Colombia. However, they must prove why the test is unnecessary. They will be subjected to a PCR test upon arrival and a 14-days quarantine at their own expenses.

M or R courtesy visa

Passengers who have M or R courtesy visa must prove why the test is unnecessary.

Check Mig Form

Passengers should fill a β€œCheck Mig” form at most 24 hours before departure at https://apps.migracioncolombia.gov.co/pre-registro/public/preregistro.jsf
