Day 1 ARRIVAL ATHENS

Arrival at Athens airport where you will be met and transferred to your hotel for check-in. Spend the afternoon at leisure, exploring Greece's beautiful capital. You may optionally visit Syntagma Square and indulge in the vibe of this stunning city. Enjoy shopping in some of the most popular areas of the city, the Kolonaki or Ermou, and have a nice, quiet walk on the beautiful alleys of Plaka, the old district where you can also find a great number of small shops selling souvenirs and other local artefacts. 
Overnight in Athens.

Day 2 ATHENS

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.Overnight in Athens.

Day 3 ATHENS – DELPHI – KALAMBAKA (417 km – 5.5 hrs)

After a delicious breakfast, leave for Delphi via Thebes, Levadia and the picturesque village of Arachova, on the slopes of Mount Parnassus. Wander around spellbinding Delphi, and visit the interesting  Archaeological Site and Museum. Afterwards, depart for beautiful Kalambaka, passing through the picturesque villages and spectacular towns of Central Greece. Proceed to Kalambaka for a delightful dinner and overnight.

Day 4 KALAMBAKA – ATHENS (355 km - 4hrs)

Indulge in a luscious breakfast at your selected hotel. Then, head towards Meteora, one of Greece's most famous landmarks. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery and get closer to the Greek glorious history and culture. Admire the ageless Monasteries, standing between earth and sky atop huge rocks and containing priceless historical and religious treasures. Return to Athens via Trikala, Lamia and Thermopylae.  Have a short stop to see across the road the Leonida's Monument, and arrive in Greece´s capital city early in the evening.

Day 5 DEPARTURE ATHENS

Begin your day with a mouthwatering breakfast at your hotel, preparing to observe the striking contrasts that make Athens such a fascinating city, during a memorable city tour. Our expert guide will take you to see the Panathenaic Stadium, where the first Olympic Games of modern times were held in 1896. Stop for a few moments and then continue your tour passing by the Prime Minister's residence- the former Royal Palace, guarded by the Euzones in their colourful uniform. Then, see the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian's Arch, the Parliament, the memorial of the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, University, National Library, and the lovely Constitution Square (Syntagma). Go to Acropolis to visit the Architectural Masterpieces of Athens' Golden Age: The Propylaea, Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion, and finally "the harmony between material and spirit" and the monument that "puts an order in mind"- Greece's imposing Parthenon. Last, but not least, admire the wonders of the classical era at The New Acropolis Museum. After this interesting tour, return to your hotel to pick up your luggage and transfer to the airport for your departure flight. Please note that the estimated time of arrival at the airport is around 04:00 pm, please arrange your departure flight accordingly.

What to Bring

Comfortable and light clothing is the most suitable for travelling in Greece. Visitors should not wear sleeveless shirts, shorts, short skirts or skimpy clothing when visiting temples, religious or official buildings. Sun protection, sun glasses, a hat, and mosquito repellent can be very useful during your stay.
