Huvadhoo Atoll is not only one of the deepest atolls in the Maldives but also one of the deepest in the world. In this region, anglers can target species like Amberjack, Great Barracuda, Bohar Snapper, Coral Trout, Groupers, African Pompano Jack, Sailfish, and more, depending on the conditions. Trolling and bottom fishing, using both light and heavy tackle, are the common techniques used. The waters are also home to species like Dogtooth Tuna, Black Marlin, Bigeye Trevally, Skipjack Tuna, Wahoo, Yellowfin Tuna, Giant Trevally, Bluefin Trevally, and Bluefin Tuna.
