The museum offers fascinating insight into the traditional tuna fishing techniques and the town’s maritime heritage. Next heat to the world-renowned La Pelosa Beach just a short drive from Stintino. It’s famous for its incredibly clear, shallow waters and fine white sand. Relax on the beach, take a swim or snorkel to explore these unforgettable waters. For lunch, enjoy a meal at one of the seaside restaurants near La Pelosa Beach. Savour fresh seafood dishes, such as spaghetti alle vongole (spaghetti with clams) or fritto misto (mixed fried seafood).Overnight in Alghero.

Upon arrival, start exploring La Maddalena town and its charming streets. Visit the Piazza Umberto I, the main square where you can enjoy a coffee and soak up the local atmosphere. The museum offers insight into the maritime history of the archipelago, including artefacts from shipwrecks and displays of local naval history. For lunch choose a local trattoria and enjoy fresh seafood dishes. In the afternoon, head to Spiaggia di Cala Spalmatore, one of the most beautiful beaches on the island.
