Day 1 Zurich - Rhine Falls – Zurich
Highlight of today is our day trip to Rhine Falls. Rhine Falls, located near Schaffhausen in northern Switzerland, is Europe's largest waterfall, boasting a width of 150 meters and a height of 23 meters. Visitors can enjoy stunning views from several platforms, including those at Schloss Laufen, which also houses a museum and a panoramic lift. Thrilling boat tours offer close encounters with the falls, even allowing climbs onto the central rock. The surrounding area features a scenic walking trail, an adventure rope park, and a visitor center with information and souvenirs. The falls are most powerful during late spring and early summer, providing a truly exhilarating natural spectacle. In the afternoon we will head back to Zurich where you will have free time to enjoy the city.
