Cafayate Wine Route Day Tour from Salta

After be picked up in your Salta accommodation, you'll travel along Route No 68 to go to the neighboring city of Cafayate, the heart of a world famous wine-making region. On your way there, you will also get to see beautiful mountain landscapes, and even get to cross Las Conchas River Gorge.

Once you've arrived at Cafayate, you will visit the Museum of Vine and Wine to get a sense of the history of the region and learn about the procedures that cellars use to make their wines. You'll also learn about the main characteristics of high-altitude wines.

Then, you will visit two wineries where in addition to touring their facilities, you will enjoy a tasting of their most renowned wines. In recent years, the wine industry has experienced tremendous growth by promoting the development of outstanding quality wines recognized in international markets and competitions.
