Mekong Sunset Trip

First, you will be picked up at 2.p.m at your hotel by a professional and friendly tourist guide and enjoy a half day tour of Mekong sunset.

First, you will get out of town by a unique local moto-remork to go through the famous Japanese Friendship Bridge that was rebuilt by the Japanese in 1993 before taking part in the ferry ride across the Mekong River to reach Mekong Island which is well known for the economy mostly depending on agriculture, aquaculture and silk weaving activities. 

You can also make a stop at the local silk-weaving factory to observe the way people make authentic silk products and get some if you want.

Then, you can come to visit the huge rice paddy fields and fruit gardens to know more the lifestyle of local farmers. If you want to taste some of the exotic snacks, why don’t you visit the local markets before dropping by a “floating village” to observe their fishing boats and floating farms. 

Afterward, you can take on a boat to cruise to admire the spectacular sunset at the junction of the Tonle Sap, Tonle Bassac and Mekong River as well as enjoy the majestic sceneries when passing by Wat Ounalom, the Royal Place and the Silver Pagoda. 

Finally, you will be transferred back to your hotel around 6PM and the trip ends there.
