Sossusvlei – One of the Most Fantastic Landscapes in Namibia
Sossusvlei is a salt and sand pan located within the Namib-Naukluft National Park, and it is famous for its pink, orange, and red dunes and white salt pans. You can explore through and over the dunes on foot or via 4WD. The area is almost 325m wide, and even though it’s the most popular tourism attractive spot, you’re going to feel isolated. You better visit the dunes early in the morning or later afternoon. At these times, the colors are the most magical and vibrant, and the heat is less disturbing.
