Coffee Tour & Wildlife Adventure in Jinja, Sipi Falls & Kidepo Valley

After an early breakfast, the driver picks you up at 7.00am to kick off your long adventure,starting off with eastern Uganda. You will drive through Kampala and head eastwards along theKampala - Jinja highway. First turn-off is to the Sezibwa Falls, a Buganda cultural heritage site,with beautiful waterfalls and cool atmosphere. Spend an hour here hiking the rocks, watchingbirds, and learning about the myths of the falls and the ancient traditional worshiping that is stillpracticed here. Thereafter return to the road and make another stopover at Mabira Rainforest -the largest forest in Central Uganda. Head out for a 2 hour trek to the track the habituated Greycheeked Mangabeys, watch lots of birds, monkeys, squirrels, and enjoy the aroma of an Africanjungle. Return and get back on the road and drive to Jinja. Check in at your accommodation,have lunch and thereafter head out for an hour boat ride on Lake Victoria to the Source of theNile. After breakfast at 7.30am, check out, drive out of Jinja and head further eastwards throughMbale town to Sipi Falls in Kapchorwa District. The Sipi Falls are a series of three stunningwaterfalls situated in the foothills of Mountain Elgon. Check in at the accommodation (SipiRiver Lodge), refresh, and thereafter head out for a 3 - 4 hour trek up and down the foothills ofMountain Elgon, visiting each of the three waterfalls and enjoying spectacular vistas from upMountain Elgon to the flat plains of Karamoja in the distance.Return to your lodge for lunch. Later you could opt to walk through the local communitiesand coffee farmlands. Dinner and overnight is at the lodge. Sipi river lodge

After early breakfast, embark on a long drive to the north of Uganda and get to Kidepo ValleyNational Park - arguably Africa's most spectacular wilderness. Lunch en-route. Early morning game drive with viewing the park’s endowed diversity of wildlife such aselephants, leopard, warthogs, ostriches, buffaloes, giraffes and lions and continue to birdwatching in the Narus Valley. After the game drive, return to the camp in time for lunch andlater go for an evening cultural tour to interact with the Karamojong community. Here you willget an opportunity of seeing how the locals go about their day today lives from the activities thatkeep them occupied all day every day to their cultural practices. You will most definitely realizewhy most Africans are reluctant to completely giving up on their traditional practices. Have breakfast and head out for Nature walk experience coupled with a brief drive to theKanangorok Hot Springs. You will pass by some magnificent landscapes and rockyoutcrops. Chances are you will get to see some ostriches as there are often see in this partof the park. Return to the lodge for lunch and relax a bit as you get ready for your eveninggame drive.The game drive takes 3 hours as you will be looking out for the wildlife as they retire for the dayas well. When the game drive is done, drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight, relaxand get ready for your departure tomorrow.

Have breakfast by 6:00 am, check out of the lodge and travel back to Kampala. You will mostdefinitely have lunch en-route that will be coupled with a lot of stopovers at scenic places andto stretch your legs and relax the muscles.Drop off at your desired destination.
