Escape to Paradise Island of Con Dao 4 days

HCM City - Con Dao Island

You will be greeted at Tan Son Nhat Airport. Then, you will start the flight to Con Dao. You will land at Con Son airport after 1 hour flight

From the airport, you will be transferred to Con Dao town by car. You will check in the hotel and have lunch.

Following lunchtime and a short rest, you will start the tour of exploring Con Dao in 4 days.

Your first destination is Dam Trau beach which is located next to the Co Ong airport. Dam Trau beach is considered the most romantic one of Con Dao with long and beautiful sandy shore and shapeless Cliffside. Coming here, you can not only enjoy refreshing swim, sunbath but also marvel at the stunning sceneries here. While taking a rest and sightseeing, don’t forget to keep your camera handy to capture these fantastic images of the area.

Leaving Dam Trau beach, you will get into to more tranquil atmosphere of the Cai Prince Temple (Mieu Cau) where Prince Cai (a son a Lord Nguyen Anh in the Nguyen Dynasty) is worshipped. At the age of 15, he was thrown to the sea in the angry of his own father. Then, the locals here built a temple to give remembrances to him.

Con Dao Island - The pearl of ocean

In the morning, you will visit some historical places of the island, as following:

- Con Dao Museum: this is the place where you can get a lot of information about Con Dao's history.
- Phu Hai Camp: this is the oldest prison in Con Dao. It was built by the French colonists and infamous with its underground mills and solitary imprisonments.
- The 2 notorious prison tiger cages, namely Phu Tuong Camp (French style) and Phu Binh Camp (American style)
- Cow raising area: here, there was a ditch where prisoners were soaked in cows’ waste.
- Ma Thien Lanh bridge and Hang Dương cemetery.

Following lunch and a short rest, you will start the afternoon program by heading to Hoang Phi Yen Temple which is commonly known as the Anshan Temple. This temple is built to worship Madam Hoang Phi Yen, wife of Lord Nguyen Anh (Nguyen Dynasty). Coming here, you can also enjoy the peaceful beauty of An Hai Lake.

From here, you will move to Nui Mot Pagoda which is the only one in the island.

Leaving the pagoda, you will visit Ben Dam Port, the largest one, which is also the economic center of Con Dao.

Then, you will be engaged in some more activities, such as visiting Bai Nhat beach, the Shark cape and taking photos there.

On the way back to your hotel, you will stop and enjoy the fantastic view of the sunset on Mountain of love. Don’t forget to keep your camera handy to capture this stunning image of nature.

The tour ends when you arrive at your hotel.

Con Dao Island - The pearl of ocean

After having breakfast, you will embark on a boat to visit Con Son bay where you can enjoy the beauty of this multi-islanded bay. You can even go diving to enjoy the magnificent coral reefs here.

From Con Son Bay, you will take another boat ride to Tai Island for fishing. It will be absolutely unforgettable feelings that you experience seeing fish swallow bait and taking them to the boat.

Then, you continue heading to the Bay Canh island where you will stay for a barbecue lunch with grilled fish.

Following lunch and a short rest, you will spend time enjoying the Bay Canh island. You will enjoy yourself with swimming and sunbathing at a nice beach on the island. Then, you will experience diving with snorkel and goggles.

At 3:00pm, you will get on the boat to ride back to the mainland to enjoy a delicious dinner in a local restaurant.

Goodbye Con Dao Island

After having breakfast, it will be time for your own schedule. You will have free time to choose either strolling around Con Dao or relaxing.

You will then check you the hotel and say good bye to the beautiful and peaceful Con Dao – the pearl of ocean.

You will be transferred to the airport, check in for your flight back to Ho Chi Minh City/Hanoi/Can Tho; and your 3-day tour of exploring and enjoying Con Dao ends
