Day 1
Our guide will meet you at your hotel around 08:00AM and brief on today itinerary. Get on a boat and head to the Bao Vinh Ancient Town and visit the local market. From the 17th to 19th centuries, the region used to be a very busy and important trade center.
Keep cycling to the Sinh Village, which has been renowned for the traditional craft of folk woodblock paintings. Meet up with the local artisans and find out how they make their products.
Back on your bike, we proceed to the Thanh Tien village. This village had tradition of making paper flower about more than 300 years ago. Visit the artisan Than Van Huy to learn his secret on making those beautiful crafts. You can also discover the Hue traditional house.
Later, take a boat trip on the Perfume River to visit the Thien Mu Pagoda, which considered the symbol of Hue.
Same Day
Continue to cycle to Thuy Bieu village, which renowned for its special pomelo – Thanh Tra. This local fruit has the mild sweet taste and the refined fragrance.
Strolling around the tranquil Thuy Bieu village before taking a cooking class at the local home. Under the hosts’ instructions, you will be cooking your heart out and preparing several Hue specialties. Later your creations will be served along with the hosts’ for lunch.
After a long day tour, soak your feet into the herb water – a traditional therapeutic practice.
Back to your hotel and end of the tour around 5:00PM.
