Two options are available for the full-day trip. Tour with lunch option and without lunch. The tour with lunch is a good option, if you want to learn more about Georgian cuisine. A local family will prepare the lunch.

Kakheti is in eastern Georgia. It is the country’s most famous wine region.  This area is a must-visit for travellers. Visitors can enjoy culture,  history, and natural beauty here.

Day 1 Qvevri Master

Tour from Tbilisi to Kakheti is a unique tour, you will visit several wine making companies as part of a small group.Wine enthusiasts can explore Kakheti’s renowned wineries, such as KTW wine factory, Corporation Kindzmarauli, and the Kvareli Wine Cave. Visitors can taste traditional wines like Saperavi and Rkatsiteli.As part of the Kakheti Wine Tour, you will visit the local Qvevri master. You can also learn about the unique Qvevri winemaking method. A Qvevri is a large, egg-shaped clay vessel that has been used for winemaking. This method involves fermenting wine in clay vessels that are buried underground.Georgia is often referred to as the “cradle of wine” because it has an unbroken winemaking tradition spanning over 8,000 years. Archaeological evidence suggests that the earliest wine production took place in Georgia around 6,000 BCE, making it one of the oldest wine-producing regions in the world. This long-standing heritage has cemented Georgia’s place in the global history of winemaking. We can say that Georgia is a wine country.One of the most distinctive aspects of Georgian wine is the traditional method of production using qvevri—large clay vessels buried underground. Day 2 Kindzmarauli Corporation Wine House

As part of the Kakheti Wine Tour, you will be able to visit a wine  factory to gather more information about all stages of wine production.  Of course, visits to wine factories, includes wine tastings.Corporation  Kindzmarauli is a prominent Georgian winery located in the Kakheti  region, renowned for producing some of the country’s finest wines.Established  near the historic town of Kvareli, it draws its name from the famous  Kindzmarauli wine—a semi-sweet red wine cherished for its rich flavor  and natural sweetness. The winery is set in the heart of the Alazani  Valley, surrounded by picturesque vineyards and the majestic Caucasus  Mountains.What sets Corporation Kindzmarauli apart is its  commitment to combining traditional Georgian winemaking methods, such as  Qvevri fermentation, with modern technology. Day 3 Khareba Wine Tunnel

It is hard to imagine the guided tour without visiting Khareba Wine  Tunnel. You will visit the wine tunnel, which is a unique wine cellar  carved inside the Caucasus mountains. The best wines of the Kakheti  region have been stored and aged here for decades because of ideal  conditions for wine preservation. You will taste rare wines of the  Kakheti region.The Kvareli Wine Cave, nestled in Georgia's  picturesque Kakheti region, is a unique destination for wine  enthusiasts. Built into the slopes of the Greater Caucasus Mountains,  the cave stretches over 7.7 kilometers and provides the perfect natural  conditions for wine aging. Its consistent temperature of 12-14°C makes  it an ideal environment for preserving and enhancing the flavor of fine  wines.The cave, carved into the Caucasus rock massif, was opened  in 1962 specifically for the World Congress of Vine and Wine. Today, it  is managed by Winery Khareba and serves as both a working wine cellar  and a tourist attraction.Winery Khareba offers private tours of  the complex accompanied by a local guide. Day 4 KTW Wine Factory in Patardzeuli

Tour in Kakheti would be incomplete if you don’t visit the KTW wine factory.You will visit one of the biggest wine factories to taste award-winning wines directly from stainless steel wine tanks and brandy directly from the oak barrels.It is impossible to imagine a Kakheti Wine Tour without wine and food. So, if you are looking for “food wine tours,” the tour in Kakheti is a perfect choice.KTW Wine House Patardzeuli, located in the village of Patardzeuli within Georgia's Kakheti region, is a prominent facility of Kakhetian Traditional Winemaking (KTW). Established in 2001, this enterprise specializes in producing wine, chacha, and brandy. The facility comprises three main buildings, each dedicated to distinct technological processes for the production of these beverages.In line with KTW's commitment to sustainability, the Patardzeuli enterprise is equipped with solar panels, harnessing alternative energy to supply electricity in an eco-friendly manner. The facility boasts a production capacity of 10,500 bottles of brandy per hour and houses 78 cisterns dedicated to storing wine materials.You will visit one of the biggest wine factory to taste wines directly from stainless steel wine tanks and brandy directly from the oak barrels.
