Day 1 Leisure at Mud House and Mannar Story 07 Nights and 08 Days

Day 01 - Katunayake International Airport to Anamaduwa - ( 02 hours and 26 min)

On arrival, you will meet our Chauffeur/ Guide, who meet and greet at the Bandaranaike International Airport. Upon arrival in Anamaduwa, check in to your resort and the rest of the day will be spent at leisure.

Day 02 - Anamaduwa

Breakfast at the hotel,

After breakfast, you will be leaving towards another activity. Today we will embark on a half a day village safari from the hotel. We will be arranging everything for your tour.

The Mud House is located at Anamaduwa which is the fully green cover “Intermediate Zone ‘’ around the forest. There is limited rainfalls but some part of the lush “wet zone” region of the country. 

The Anamaduwa is to be man-made tanks that used to irrigate the paddy fields and support village life. This system was remaining unchanged since the times of the ancient king's thousands of years ago. Often a picture of splendid serenity, the lakes are focal points for villages and essential to humans and animals alike. During the safari, you will be seeing lush paddy fields, the bumper of the water Lake, and the rural community way of life.

On completion, we will return to our hotel and in the evening you will have participated in the experience of a Sri Lankan culinary lesson and to enjoy a delicious lunch cooked by yourself. Overnight stay at Anamaduwa Sri Lanka.

  

Day 03 - Anamaduwa to Wilpattu ( 01 hours and 30 min)

  Breakfast will be served at the main restaurant of the hotel, However, we recommend departing from the hotel around 1200hrs approximately to be on time for an evening safari at the Wilpattu National Park.

Check in to the hotel and will be taken a rest couple of the hours our first safari will begin at 1500hrs.

Wilpattu National Park is the largest national park in Sri Lanka. It is home to many diverse forest types. It was one of the first parks to open in Sri Lanka, and thus has a rich heritage. There are over 30 recorded mammalian species inside Wilpattu. Apart from leopards and sloth bears there are also Sri Lankan elephants and spotted deer. Wetland bird species such as the Pintail, Whistling Teal Spoonbill, and the White Ibis can also be found in the Wilpattu National Park.

Return to the campsite after the safari and overnight stay at Wilpattu Sri Lanka 

  Day 04 - Wilpattu

Today we will embark on a full day safari at the Wilpattu National Park; we will leave the hotel around 0600hrs.

You will be served a packed breakfast and lunch during the safari. We will arrange plenty of soft drinks and water to keep you hydrated, where you can enjoy the real wilderness of the country.

Wilpattu National Park retains its status as a preferred safari destination due to a strong prevalence of elusive leopard. Though the present number of Sri Lankan leopards in unknown, it is one of the preferred wildlife safari destinations to observe these big cats. Another highlight is the park is a dense population of Sri Lankan Sloth Bears which are highly threatened subspecies of the sloth bear that exist only on the island. 

You will be returning to the hotel and relax. In the evening we will arrange your boat ride and your dinner on an Island.

  

Day 05 - Wilpattu to Mannar - ( 01 hours and 30 min)

After breakfast, today we will leave to another important destination, Mannar. Check in to the hotel and you will be taking relaxing few hours. Today you will be starting the new experience of the bird watching. 

Sri Lanka is a bird paradise an island which is Tropical Island in the Indian Ocean. The consideration to the population of the bird's spot we cannot forget Mannar Island. The ideal place spots in Sri Lanka for migrating birds and animals are seen in Mannar Island. The bird migration season is starting in February and March. Gyomoni is representative of the bird safari she is a bird guider of the Palmyrah house at Mannar. Basically, in Manner’s birds can be seen Common brown-headed gull, black-headed gull, Glossy lbs, Black drongo, Indian roller, Western reef egret, and Indian spot-billed duck. 

On completion return to the hotel for overnight. Dinner at the hotel's main restaurant.

  

Day 06 - Mannar

Breakfast at the hotel. Today you will embark on a full-day excursion around Mannar some iconic places. We will leave the hotel around 0700hrs to complete the excursion today you will be covering on Adem’s Bridge, Mannar fort, Baobab tree Madhu church, and Thrikeshwaram temple with our experienced guide.

The epic the legendary of the king Ramayana era the bridge was connected between India and Sri Lanka. According to evidence regarding the bridge were many misconceptions about origins but a concentrated of little sandy dancing lands do appear from the tip of Mannar Island to Rameswaram Island in India is known as Rama’s Bridge or ‘Adam’s Bridge.

The Mannar fort is located on Mannar Island. In 1950 Portuguese built it. The Dutch people who came to the Manner with they were rebuilding the fort in 1696. In 1795 In 1795 the British occupied the fort following the surrender by the Dutch. It is a square-shaped fort and it is connecting between the mainland with the Mannar Island.

Our lady of the Madu is established in 1670 by Catholics fleeing Protestant Dutch persecution in Mannar. The church is located away 12Km Mannar main road. The move was ostensible to protect the image from the colonial Dutch, who had closed churches and banned priests. Saint Joseph Vaz, an Oratorian priest from Goa, also came to the area during this period and took refuge at Madhu. This church is very famous among the Catholic people.

On completion will be returned to the hotel overnight.

  Day 07 Mannar to Negombo - (05 hours and 30 min)

Breakfast at the hotel and today you will transfer to Negombo.

Negombo is one of the main shopping centers in the country and the administrative center of the Negombo Division. Negombo has about 142,136 inhabitants within its divisional secretariat division Negombo is known for its long sandy beaches and its century-old fishing industry. Negombo.

Day 08 - Negombo to Katunayake International Airport - ( 30 min)

Breakfast at the hotel.

On completion, you will be depending on your departure flight time leave to the airport.
