You will be picked up from your hotel in the evening and taken to one of the Kathmandu's top typical Nepali restaurants. This restaurant serves exquisite traditional Nepalese cuisine in a relaxed, elegant setting. Enjoy a candlelit dinner and watch a charmingly entertaining traditional and cultural show throughout the evening.
With altitudes and ethnicity, the dances of Nepal change slightly in style and in costumes. Some of the dances that you will enjoy during your cultural dinner include:
• Manjushree Dance: This is one of the traditional dances in Nepal, performed and dedicated to Manjushree.
• The Kumari Dance: This is one of the ancient classical dances of Nepal. This dance is dedicated to the well-known living goddess Kumari of Kathmandu Valley. During the famous Indra Jatra festival in Kathmandu, the Goddess Kumari, decorated with splendid ornaments, is taken around Kathmandu in a traditionally designed chariot and thousands of Nepalese people pay homage to her.
• Peacock Dance: This holy bird is called Mayur in the Nepali language. In the Peacock Dance, the dancer pretends to be a peacock and performs the dance as a peacock does during rain.
• Yak and Yeti Dance: This dance is performed in the high mountain regions of Nepal. This Yak and Yeti Dance is done to pay homage to the Yak.This romantic evening is the perfect night out for you and that someone special. After enjoying your meal and performance, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
