On arrival at the hotel in Sapa, enjoy an early check-in if the room is available, otherwise in the interim, you will have access to a basic room for refreshment before having breakfast.09:30 – Start the day with 6km of walking down to the Southeast of Sapa along Muong Hoa Valley to Y Linh Ho village, the home of the Black H’mong. Then, you will continue walking for another 3km down to Lao Chai village. Stop at the village for lunch. After lunch, continue trekking through the rice terraces to Ta Van village of the Tay minority. This trek is relatively easy although the trail can be quite slippery if it rains. For that reason, good footwear is recommended.15:00 – Return to Sapa by shared bus and check into the hotel. Ta Van Village
Ta Van Village: a Peaceful Destination on the Side of SapaComing to Ta Van, where black H’mong and Dzay people are living, visitors not only see themselves in the picturesque scenery of nature with the murmuring sound of streams and the singing of wild birds calling you to find love but also enjoy the peaceful appearance of the village. Ta Van Village owns immense paddy fields on the hill slopes, rustic thatched houses of the ethnic minorities and narrow dirt roads with colorful flowers on the two sides. All the things combine with others to draw a stunning picture in a mountainous area. A visit to Ta Van village is a journey back to the past, where people and nature live together in harmony. This village has an immediately strange attraction for those who love travelling.
Y Linh Ho Village: The Pristine Beauty of SapaY Linh Ho Village is the home to many small population ethnic groups scattered on the mountain slopes, and 2 of the most crowded minorities here are the Black H’Mong and the Dao individuals. Nowadays, the village is divided into 2 communes: Y Linh Ho 1 and Y Linh Ho 2. In each commune, there are about 100 households of Mong and Dao people currently residing.
Hanoi Arrival
Hanoi Railway Station arrive at 6AM.Tour services end at Hanoi Train Station, from where you can easily catch a taxi to hotels in the Old Quarter. Or a walk about 10 minutes to Hotels in Old Quarter of Hanoi.
: Cat Cat village – Sapa (B-L)8:00 – After breakfast, you will begin the second day of your adventure by exploring the villages which are located a little bit further to the Southwest of Sapa (around 4 km) including Cat village, the home of the Black H’mong peopleThis trek offers some stunning views of a picturesque waterfall and the vestige of a hydro-electric power station which was built in the early 20th century.Here you can also watch the local villagers working on the paddy rice fields and the kids playing. Enjoy the opportunity to take close-up pictures of water-buffaloes, pot-bellied pigs, and chickens. Have lunch in the village at noon.Later, you continue to hike for another 3km to Sin Chai village, situated at the base of Hoang Lien Son Mountain with Fansipan Peak, which is also known as the roof of Vietnam and Indochina. Enjoy the panoramic view of the village and have more photo opportunities before heading back to Sapa Town. WHAT TO BRING - TO KNOW:
Warm clothes, scarf, hat, cap because the weather in Sapa is pretty unpredictable. It is normally cold in September, October, November, December, January, February and March
Due to altitude of Sapa, it is sometimes foggy in December, January, February and March.
Trekking shoes, sun glasses, sun cream, insect repellent are also necessary. You should take cash with you in Vietnam Dong because banking system in Sapa sometimes doesn’t function well. US Dollar, Euro, Australia Dollar are accepted in Sapa.
You should take medicine with you although there are some chemist’s shops in Sapa in case you get sick.
