Day 1 Hanoi – Sapa by bus with a long trek Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai – Ta Van village (L, D) (SIC)

Sapa is a small, mountain town in Lao Cai Province. It is located about 350 km northwest of Hanoi, close to the Chinese border. Here's where you'll find the Hoang Lien Son range of mountains, which includes Fan Si Pan—the country's highest peak.
This quiet Vietnamese town is home to different ethnic tribal groups. There are five main ethnic groups in Sapa: the Hmong, Dao, Tay, Giay and Xa Pho. It is said that Sapa was first occupied by the first four groups, since the Vietnamese from the lowlands (better known as the Kinh) did not colonise the highest valleys.
These days, Sapa welcomes a diverse range of visitors, attracted by the highland tribes, iconic rice paddies and forest treks. The whole area is blessed with awe-inspiring natural beauty.
Coming to the tranquil village called Y Linh Ho, you will have a chance of going along such a beautiful valley lying between mountains. The fresh air in the highland of Vietnam is really great for taking a walk. Y Linh Ho is a small commune composed by a dozen of small hamlets scattering on the very tough mountain terrain with high and steep mountains. This village is home to the Black Mong who wears very dark clothing in blacks and navy dyed with indigo (often seen on the hands of older Mong women).
Here you can enjoy the beautiful and interesting scenery of these villages. This is your chance to visit the H’mong people living in their wooden and bamboo houses. Then walk beside the river and valley to Lao chai village where the H’mong also live, enjoy a picnic lunch beside the Muong hoa river, if the weather is good you can go for a swim! After lunch you move onto Ta van village to visit the Dzay minority and Ta van Bridge where you take the Jeep or motorbike back Sapa.

Overnight at home-stay in Ta Van village

Day 2 Medium trek Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai village - Sapa - Ha Noi (B, L) (SIC)

As one of the most amazing landmark in Sapa, Giang Ta Chai village has so much to offer. Nestled on Fansipan Mountain foot, which is approximately 15 kilometers away from the center of Sapa. It is a perfect getaway for those who desire to indulge in heart-touching landscape, colorful traditional customs of ethnic minorities and marvelous mountain ranges.
