Day 1 Hanoi Arrival (L/D)

Welcome to Vietnam! Our driver will pick you up at Hanoi’s airport and drive you to your hotel. You’re your time today to rest, recover from a long flight, and start exploring the areas.
Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2 Hanoi City Tour (B/L)

The tour is split into a morning and afternoon schedule, with a tasty lunch in between!
At 8 am, you are invited to visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex including a tour of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh Museum, and One Pillar Pagoda. The visits continue with the Temple of Literature, the first University of Vietnam dated from the 16th century. The morning will end with a tour of Hanoi’s Art Museum.
After a good satisfying lunch in one of Hanoi’s famous restaurants, we will take you on a walking tour through 1000-year-old Hanoi Old Quarter until we reach the final attraction of the day, a Hanoian tradition, the Water Puppet Unique show at 4 PM.

Day 3 Hanoi – Bai Tu Long Bay (B/L/D)

Today we will leave bustling Hanoi for a quieter location, one of the World’s Seventh Natural Wonders, Bai Tu Long Bay, an extension to Halong Bay.
Early pick up necessary, around 7:15 am, to have more time in Halong Bay. Three and a half hours later, we will reach Hong Gai Harbour to start our cruise.
The Tonkin Cruise crew awaits you with a welcome drink and a presentation of the boat’s safety rules, while slowly sailing towards the calm waters of Bai Tu Long Bay.
After a delicious lunch, you will explore Vung Vieng Village, a fishermen community nestled amongst karstic mountains, either on a bamboo boat lead by a member of the local community or by kayak.
Once the visit over, you can enjoy some free time to swim in the bay and relax on Ban Chan Beach.
From 5:30 pm enjoy a cocktail while the boat is cruising to Cong Dong - Cong Do area where it will anchor for the night.
Dinner will be composed of BBQ specialties including meat and fresh seafood. The evening is free for your imagination, board games are available on the boat, or you can try your skills at squid fishing or karaoke (on request). The sundeck welcomes you to enjoy a 360° view of the bay, do not miss out on the scenery, comfortably settled on a sunbath chair, sipping on of the tasteful cocktails the bar has to offer (drinks not included).

Day 4 Bai Tu Long Bay - Hanoi – Flight to Hue (B/L)

Start the day with morning exercise on the sundeck. The crew will introduce you to Tai Chi while the boat still rests between the mountains. Breakfast will be served while on your way to Hon Co area.
There you will be able to explore the only cave in Bai Tu Long Bay, Thien Canh Son Cave. It is located at the centre of this World Heritage Area, treating tourists with sumptuous stalactites and stalagmites formations, and a fantastic panorama of the bay.
Upon return to the boat mid-morning, lunch will be served early as the boat makes his way back to the harbour. Your ride will be expecting you to take you back to Hanoi.
The day continues with a transfer to Noi Bai Airport for your flight HAN – HUI scheduled at 19:00 with an arrival in Hue at 20:15. A transfer will be organized to take you to your hotel.

Day 5 Hue – City tour – Hoi An (B/L)

Hue is a city rich with history. You will embark today on a cultural city tour starting from 8 am when your guide and driver will come pick you up at your hotel.
The city tour will include visits of the Thanh Toan Bridge, a tile-roofed and arched wooden bridge, a rare architectural monument, and the most aesthetically valuable bridge of Vietnam; Minh Mang Tomb, considered as the most majestic of all of the Royal Tombs. It is renowned for its architecture which harmoniously blends into its natural surroundings. The morning visits continue with Khai Dinh Tomb, a blend of Western and Eastern architectures, before stopping for lunch at a local restaurant.
During the afternoon, you will experience a tour of the Hue Imperial Citadel. The Imperial city is the home of Vietnam’s last royal dynasty – the Nguyen Dynasty. Then take your time to appreciate the beauty of the Thien Mu Pagoda, meaning Heaven Fairy Lady Pagoda, the oldest pagoda in Hue city.
Around 4 pm, a Dragon boat will take you back to the city centre and drop you off at your hotel to check out and depart on to your next destination, Hoi An City.

Day 6 My Son Sanctuary – Hoi An City Tour (B/L)

You will be collected from 7:30 am to explore My Son Sanctuary. Our expert guide will take you through the Sanctuary and give you much information about its history, with plenty of chances to take photos and marvel at the unique architecture.
After My Son, you will reach Kim Bong Carpentry Village near Hoi An and stop at a local restaurant along the way to enjoy delicious Vietnamese cuisine.
The afternoon will be dedicated to the discovery of the city of Hoi An ON foot. The historic town which used to be a prosperous seaport city between the 16th and 18th centuries is now a beautiful city that cannot be missed while touring in Southeast Vietnam.
The stroll will take you to the following sites of Hoi An:

Tan Ky Old House
Fu Jian Assembly Hall
The 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge
In addition, you will have the chance to see local people raise silkworms and produce silk for Hoi An’s burgeoning textile industry.

Day 7 Hoi An Leisure (B)

Enjoy some free time in Hoi An to wander around the ancient town, do shopping or simply relax.

Day 8 Hoi An – Ho Chi Minh City (B)

Take your time this morning, you are free again to organize your own plan in this enchanted city before checking out in the afternoon to transfer to Danang airport.
Upon your arrival in Ho Chi Minh City, your transfer to your hotel is scheduled.
Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 9 Ho Chi Minh City Tour – Cu Chi Tunnel (B/L)

Have a good breakfast at your hotel and get ready to explore the second largest city of Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh City.
You will start the trip by visiting the Reunification Palace whose former name was Norodom Palace designed by architect Ngo Viet Thu. Then explore the local Notre-Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office, and more importantly the War Remnants Museum which shows exhibitions on the Vietnam War and Indochina Wars.
After enjoying lunch at the local restaurant, you will be taken to Cu Chi Tunnels. Before entering allotted areas of Cu Chi Tunnels, watch an introductory video to the tunnel system’s history and the life of Vietnamese people during the war.
Climb down small tunnels to get an amazing experience and discover special living areas and martial facilities constructed by the Viet Cong. The tunnels were like a subterranean village with bedrooms, kitchens, field hospitals, command centers, weapons factories, and storage. Your experience will be gustatory too as you will be able to taste special tea and cassava – the common food of Vietnamese soldiers at that time. End this visit with a session of shooting gun or just relax in the quiet forest before returning to the city.

Day 10 Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Delta (B/L)

At appointed time (approx 07:30 to 08:30), our guide will greet you at the hotel's lobby before transfering you directly from Ho Chi Minh City. Enjoy scenic ride out of the city.Watch rice paddies flecked with charming farms pass by as you make your way to the quaint fishing village of My Tho. Board a boat bound for the islands of the Tien River, and then cruise to Ben Tre to check out dense coconut groves. Taste decadent coconut candies and sip hot mugs of honey tea before grabbing a scrumptious lunch featuring freshly caught fish and river shrimp.Spend your afternoon watching folk music performances and walking around the countryside. Atnight, take a quick ride to Can Tho where you can turn in for the night at a cozy hotel.Overnight in Can Tho.

Day 11 Cai Rang floating market – Ho Chi Minh City (B/L)

Start your day with a hearty breakfast, pack up your things, and head out to weave through the local vendors of Cai Rang Floating Market. Weave through rows of boats loaded with everything from fresh produce to vintage jewelry, browsing for souvenirs and haggling with locals as you go.Watch dextrous noodle makers create delicate vermicelli, visit a local village, and get the chance to test your balance as you cross the river on a bamboo span known locally as a "monkey bridge".Tuck into a scrumptious lunch, do some last-minute shopping at Can Tho Market, visit Vinh Trang Pagoda and then take a final ride back to Ho Chi Minh City, where you can get dropped off at your hotel.

Day 12 Ho Chi Minh Departure (B)

On this last morning in Ho Chi Minh City, enjoy breakfast and take your last moments to explore the city at your own pace before being transferred to the airport for your departure flight.
